Lee & Mike’s Cruise Notebook is a terrific resource if you’re considering or planning for a cruise on a mass-market line. Lee and Mike are two chaps with a passion for cruising, and their detailed trip reports, complete with photos, daily cruise newsletters, reviews, and even podcasts, are super helpful in giving you a sense of what it’s like to be on board certain ships. I also appreciate their positive attitude–while they’re honest about the pros and cons of ships and/or cruise lines, they’re never whiny or complaint-happy.

If you’re a first-time cruiser, I also recommend checking out their “Tips” section, which has a lot of handy information.
