If you’re planning a trip to our nation’s capital and are looking for something fun to do at night, I highly recommend an evening at the Arlington Cinema ‘N’ Drafthouse (just outside D.C. in northern Virginia). In this vintage movie theater you can enjoy a flick while also partaking in premium beer & wine and tasty food. Admission is just $5.50–you can’t beat that with a stick!
Another Drafthouse feature I really appreciate is that your seat has a little table in front of it so you don’t have to juggle foodstuffs on your lap while struggling not to spill your drink. Back in “my day” (as a local teenager in the 90s), you could also smoke in there, which was a big novelty for a movie theater.
